Ready Room
Was I ready for some social time! Hello tasty little drink and interesting new and very mature bar...not quite what I was expecting but glad I could have my much needed girl time anyway, thanks Jessie. Great for a quiet night or romantic date w/ hopes of lots of💋💋💋😄
Lights in the Heights
Always an annual favorite event! You know with 2 little ones, it’s hard to get out regularly, but when we do Lights in the Heights is always one of our must dos! And everyone we introduce to it absolutely love it. We did have one bad experience, from that we have learned, no middle schoolers please. They’re in that too cool for school stage when really that age group is the least interesting...haha.
Egg Haus
I am disappointed. The place is cute, but small and very casual. They have extra seating at the Bierhaus. Let the complaining commence...first off they gave us the wrong food. I ordered the pretzel grilled cheese and egg scramble and this first photo of food came out. Then they send out another 2 sandwiches which still were not what I ordered and to make it worse, the food was cold and not that good. I had a very poor experience, and I can undoubtedly say I probably will not be returning here...not trying to be harsh, just realistic.
3rd Time is...
not a charm at Emmaline. Why o why...this place breaks my heart! It is the cutest restaurant and they can't seem to put out a good meal. I am constantly disappointed, why do I come back here? Because it's so cute!!
Today was the burger and myself and the 3 others all agree, it was ok. I actually did not finish even half, just wasn't in the mood to eat something that was not satisfying my very little desire to eat this meal. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't worth the effort. It was actually kind of a sloppy burger too. Too bad this place is so cute, I just love the atmosphere. And the staff is really great! I was told they had a change in kitchen, I hope they get their food act together soon!

La Madeleine
So a friend of mine wanted to go here and my first reaction was like 😳 ...but I decided to be a good sport and go anyway and that's when I found my La Madeleine waffles ❤️. I have been back 4x since...over the course of a month and half...I have to say best waffles ever!So yummy. Everything else I've tried is eh...not that I've tried much. But the croissant is ok. Eggs are eggs. And the crowd is...mature.I do love me those waffles!
So I made it to the location near target to get my La Madeleine waffles. I have to say, I think I like this location better. Lots of sunlight and a fireplace, not cozy but plenty of room to find a spot. And I ate me some of my favorite waffles!
Moxie’s
It's a nice place but overall, I wasn't that impressed with the food.The atmosphere is nice, we sat on the outdoor balcony on the second floor.Girl star dressed very sexy, a little too sexy for lunch in my opinion...anyway, decent option.
Doris Metropolitan
This was an amazing experience! I’m not a octopus kind of person, actually I would probably say I would never eat it, but it was absolutely delicious here, DELICIOUS! We also had the Ribeye which was amazing. The atmosphere is great, the bar takes up more real estate in this place than it did in the previous restaurant, Triniti, which is a much better layout.
Anyway, really nice restaurant, an Israeli Steakhouse, which was a new concept to me...but it was amazing! Try the octopus! Be brave, you’ll be glad you did!
