Breakfast at Dish Society

I didn’t love my breakfast but it wasn’t bad.  Actually it was pretty good. Definitely good for what I ordered, Southwest Scramble (egg whites only).  Just not what I typically order, I’ll try the traditional breakfast next time and report back.

Really enjoyed my power grain bowl add chicken, quite delicious if I must say.   And I’m also really liking this location, which is very close to my office.  This will definitely be a regular for lunch spots.  My only complaint is it gets expensive, these 2 dishes, 1 Bloody Mary and a chocolate cake all came out to $80!  😲

I plan to be back in the morning with my breakfast crew, will report back in breakfast.

Also, they are currently in soft opening mode, grand opening happens later this month.

So far, from my 2 visits, for dinner, no reservations, have been pretty great.  It’s not just the food, though the oysters were delicious and small, like I like them...but it was also the atmosphere.  It’s something about the dim, cozy lighting in there that makes it really conducive for the 2 date nights we had there.  By the way, I suggest making reservations because though neither do the days we happen to have them, we were able to eat, but once at the bar, which wasn’t so bad.  However, the dining area is better.  Something about this place reminds of a ski lodge.  If they only had a fireplace it would be perfect!  Anyway, I love ski lodges so I’m a little nostalgic, but anyway, I enjoyed my food, the atmosphere and service very much.  Definitely go try this one!

I have to say, our meal was kind of a creative and fancy adult breakfast.  Not the kind of place to go if you’re craving waffles and pancakes.  Venezuelan inspired.  Everything is quite beautiful and tasty.  My pals said the coffee was really good.  Love the decor of the restaurant.  I did like the creativity, but it’s not a regular breakfast kind of place to me.  I heard they have a fabulous lunch and just recently opened for dinner...which I would be more inclined to return for.   Definitely an interesting place.

I thought this place was so cute.  Same owners as B&B Butchers and across the street.  Much more casual than its older sibling, and each dining area is intimate and quaint.  I love it!  It feels like a small mom and pop.  I had the grilled cheese, decadent.  I saved half of it and devoured the other half later.  Everything heavy, but delicious.  I’d really like to take my husband by, he would love it.
