It's a long 2hr drive and I spent not even an hour there, as I was starting to feel bad for dragging the baby around, and then another 2hr drive back! Other than the ridiculous time I spent getting there compared to how much time I actually spent browsing...it's was great! Going early avoids the crowds and I might consider going back towards the end of the show, March 27-April 1. It was also warm today, but it should be cooler this weekend, go and shop!
Ramen Tatsu-Ya (Montrose)
Well I do like the speed at which we got in but even at that it's not super fast, but considering how long the line was, on a Friday evening at 730pm, maybe 20 mins, not bad. Parking sucks.
We ordered the Hush Piggies and the Brussel Sprouts which we thought were ok. I ordered #2 and everyone else seemed to order the #1, which was the way to go...I thought the #1 was better too but even at that...everything was ok, not really good. That's all I have to share...
Huynh (East Downtown)
I keep forgetting how good the food is here. This is the Korean Rice dish...tasty!!!
Field & Tides (Heights)
New, in the Heights, in the old Zelka's spot. I got the highly recommended shredded pork sandwich, pretty tasty, fries were good. The upside down pineapple cake was delish!!!
Olive & Finch (Denver)
Exactly what I was looking for...nice and bright atmosphere and healthy and tasteful. I enjoyed my Quinoa Salad add Chicken, the husband got the classic breakfast. We enjoyed it!
Ritual (Heights)
I like the atmosphere, great place to people watch, the food is decadent! I think I just wanted a classic waffle, my chicken and waffles was super strong flavors...I'm not going to lie, it's was all just a little too much for me...at least for a regular place. And Matt got the meat breakfast, can't remember what it was called, but as you can see...he doesn't need to eat for the rest of the day!
Morningstar
I really do need to get better at uploading my reviews...life just gets so busy! Speaking of busy mornings, it's tough to get my breakfast in, so breakfast is at Morningstar which is a Vegan cereal, love all the grains and seeds, but I didn't love the Almond milk, so next time I'll request regular milk. And of course have to try a doughnut, tried the Olive Oil Doughnut cake, yummy! And my staple vanilla latte!
