Tasting Truth BBQ

I’m a mom of 2 under 3 and anyone with little ones knows how busying that is. So I don’t get to explore as much and when I do go exploring it’s because I’m responding to some buzz…and this place gets quite the buzz. I would say it’s definitely worth the trip out. The presentation is pretty impressive…like they really know what they’re doing. They have a window to view their smoke pits. They really have a nice system, you can see the quality in their product. I really don’t eat bbq that much so I was at a loss on what to get, so I started with the brisket, copying my lunch pals…as I was going through the line, the line behind was building and soon was wrapping out the door. I then noticed the ribs and thought, ugh I should’ve got the ribs! They said they could add it, no problem, I thought I could take it home to the husband and said YES to the ribs! I wasn’t sure about the rest, so the guy behind the bar suggested the brussel sprouts and said the tater tot casserole is their most popular item. Everything was great, I especially loved the quality of the meats…very nice, I hope to be back and try some of their other items, especially their desserts!

HEB + Roastery

So excited for the new HEB right down the street from me. I got to try some items from the Roastery and I had a picture of the Polish Kolache but the photo didn’t come out very appropriately so I’m doing without and just reporting back, it was good. Also, ran into this guy…he looks exactly the way he does on tv!
